3. Welding Process Guidelines

 
  • Electrode Baking: Bake at 350ºC for 1 hour before use, keep warm and take as needed to prevent moisture absorption (moisture will increase the risk of weld cracking).
  • Base Material Preheating: Preheat the base material to 150-300ºC according to the thickness (≥20mm thick plates need higher preheating temperature) and ambient temperature; control the interpass temperature at 200-300ºC.
  • Post-Weld Treatment: For ultra-thick components or high-requirement projects, stress relief annealing can be performed after welding to further improve the fatigue resistance of the weld joint.
