Stainless steel electrode E308-16

DESCRIPTION:

1. E308-16 weld metal(19Cr-9Ni)is austenite structure,it has excellent mechanical properties and shows good resistance to intergranular corrosion.
2. It can be used for all position welding with excellent performance:stable arc,small spatters,good appearance of weld.And also the welding electrode shows good heat-resistance character,not easy to turn red and gas porosity is not produced.

APPLICATION:

       Suitable for welding stainless steel structures of synthetic fibre,petrochemical equipment as well as for welding of similar structures.Also it can be used in dissimilar steels and clad steels.

ATTENTION:

      a.Before welding,the welding electrodes should be baked at the temperature from 300-350ºC for one hour.

      b.Using stainless steel brush to clean the weld seam,in order to avoid scrap iron entering and affect its quality.
